Cinco de Mayo Festival at the Glow Plaza

Saturday and Sunday, May 4 - 5, 2024, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. This annual Cinco de Mayo event is northern Nevada's largest annual celebration of Latino heritage. It will be at the Glow Plaza Festival Grounds in Reno, located at J Resort, 345 N. Arlington Ave. in Reno. Join us for an unforgettable celebration packed with vibrant music, mouthwatering food, and non-stop fun for the whole family. Admission to the event is $10 at the gate. Once in, all entertainment is free (except carnival rides and games).

Cinco de Mayo Dance for All - 1950's Sock Hop

Sunday, May 5, 2024, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The City of Reno Adaptive and City of Reno en Espanol collaborate for a dance party for teens and adults with special needs. This Cinco de Mayo dance will be at Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center, 1301 Valley Road in Reno. Admission is $3 at the door.

Cinco de Mayo Celebracion in Carson City

Friday through Sunday, May 3 - 5, 2024. Events at both Fuji Park and the Brewery Arts Center in Carson City include a family fun taco competition, a wine walk, food, art, vendors, music, kids activities and more. Dance performances by Ballet Folklorico International de Reno and Danza Azteca Aztlan. Hours are 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday at Fuji Park, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Brewery Arts Center (449 W. King St.). Attendance is free.
